Village of Gifford Board of Trustees met April 6

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

The meeting of the Board of Trustees will be called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Building

After roll call and Pledge of Allegiance, guests will be recognized and they will be given the opportunity to present questions before the Board.

Levi Kopmann to present and discuss for approval, Engineering Services to provide a Wastewater Treatment Plant Evaluation.

Maguire Iron to present about the water tower.

Brian Hesterberg to talk about Gifford Wireless.

After a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of March 2, 2023 and a second, there will be a roll call vote. If the majority approves the motion, the President will call for a motion to accept the minutes. After a motion and a second to accept the minutes there will be a roll call vote to approve the minutes as read.

After a motion to dispense with the reading of the bills and a second, there will be a roll call vote. If the majority approves the motion, the President will ask for any discussion on the bills. After discussion the President will ask for a motion to pay the bills.

After a motion and a second, there will be a roll call vote. If the majority approves the payment of the bills, Treasurer Christie Huls will be directed to pay the bills.

The Treasurer’s Report will be given by the Village Treasurer.

The Village Police Report will be given by the Police Chief.

The Committees will report:

● Power, Lights and Telephone Report

● Resources Management and Public Relations Report

● Facilities, Construction and Maintenance Report

When the business of the Board is completed, the President will ask for a motion to adjourn. After a voice vote majority, the meeting will be adjourned.
