Village of Pesotum Board of Trustees met Dec. 21.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1. Call to Order
Village President, Joyce Ragle, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and roll call taken. Present was Village President, Joyce Ragle, Village Trustees, Jennifer Gumbel-Paeth and Village Trustee and ESDA Coordinator, Robert Russian, Village Clerk, Christine Conner, Village Treasurer, Melanie Schultz, and Village Maintenance, Rob Wood. Absent were Village Trustees, Dee Ann Hoffman, Nathan Nierenhausen and Todd Jamison; and Village Building Inspector, Lyle Reed.
3. Presentations/Comments from the General Public – None
4. Old Business
4.1. There is still no agreement of terms for purchase of real estate from Pesotum Township. There is another party interested who has submitted a higher bid. Options were discussed.
4.2. Discussion of the Pesotum Wastewater Facility Plan.
5. New Business - None
6. Presentations/Comments from the Board
6.1 The Community Building is stocked and ready for Emergency shelter.
6.2 Jon Hart won the Village Holiday decorating contest.
6.3 Rob Wood obtained a quote of $400.00 each to replace the two broken windows on the front of the Community Building from Bacon & VanBuskirk.
