V. Local incidents, training, exercises and upcoming events
1. University of Illinois Hazmat Emergency Response Guide & NIOSH guide training—Aug 18
2. IEMA Summit-Sep 6-9 in Springfield, hazmat session offering
3. Exercises: U of IL Hazmat Drill—Oct 20th
-Training on Oil Spill from pipeline. UI is preparing to build a $90,000 biofuel tank

VI. Open Discussion and Wrap up: Brian Ball mentioned one incident with a leaking rail car in the rail yard of a tanker marked poisonous. After checking it out it was unfounded. The chemical was toxic but is a solid and not a liquid.
