MINUTES

I. Call to Order

Ms. Bates called the meeting to order at 3:00pm.

II. Approval of Minutes – May 17, 2022

MOTION by Ms. Kloeppel to approve the minutes of the May 17, 2022 meeting; seconded by Mr. McMahon. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED unanimously.

III. Health Insurance Plan Renewal Quote

Mr. Malachowski reviewed the Monthly Paid Premium vs. Monthly Paid Claims summary for 1/1/2018 thru 5/31/2022, the Membership Info summary from 1/1/2018 thru 5/31/2022, and the Key Indicator summary. He noted that the proposed medical coverage with BCBSIL has a +41.10% increase. The Dental Plans for Year 1 and Year 2 at 0% increase, Life Basic and Voluntary a guarantee thru 12/31/2023 at 0% increase, Vision (Year 3 of another 4 year rate) at 0% increase, the Cancer and Accident Plans have 0% increase, and BPC a 0% rate guarantee thru 12/31/2023.

IV. Nomination and vote for open AFSCME position

Mr. Frye asked that we table the nomination and vote for the open AFSCME position for discussion at the July 26, 2022 meeting.
