Shopping at local businesses and restaurants significantly impacts our local economy. Everyone needs to make an effort to shop local year-round, not just during the holidays. More money stays in our community when you do, which creates new jobs and allows for necessary improvements.

The Chamber is making it easier than ever for you to shop local with the launch of our new Shop Champaign County gift card program. The new Shop Champaign County gift card presented by Common Ground Food Co-op can be used at any local business that accepts Mastercard, and there are no hoops for businesses or the card owner to jump through to keep the money locally. 

If your company supports local spending and wants to promote this important message year-round, then there are several sponsorship opportunities available to demonstrate you are a community champion for keeping our dollars local. You sponsor, we will promote you and money stays local.

Presenting Sponsor - $2,500 - SOLD

• Logo listed on delivery materials for every card sold (the protective wrapping the card is mailed in sent to the purchaser, example to the right)

For the Chamber, it’s not good enough to just promote the importance of shopping local during the holidays. The Chamber will promote this card for local shopping year-round. This package represents twelve months of highly-visible marketing exposure for your company for an average of $208 a month. Your company will become the premier Shop Local Champion of Champaign County.

• Logo featured on all marketing materials as a Shop Local Champion

• E-connection banner ads – 2 weeks

The Chamber will promote this card for local shopping year-round. This package represents twelve months of highly-visible marketing exposure for your company for an average of $83 a month. Your company can win loyalty by championing local shopping.

Featured Business - $115 for six months or $200 for 12 months (Multiple available)

• Logo listed on shop local card order page as a featured business
• Chamber will promote card and feature businesses through emails, website, social media posts, Commerce Connection magazine, mailers
• Chamber will provide featured businesses with a marketing toolkit to help
• promote the program, including a door decal letting people know to use their card in your location. 

While our new card can be redeemed with any local retailer, restaurant or merchant who accepts Mastercard, make your business ‘top-of-mind’ for the consumer. A one-year ‘ad’ on the Shop Champaign County Card landing page is only an average of $18.75 a month. Show customers that you support shopping local and keeping their dollars local.
