Minutes from the 12/15/2021 board meeting are included. Action is requested.

An “Expenditure Approval List” is included. Action is requested, to accept the list and place it on file.

10. New Business

A. Audit Delays (pages 1112)*

Included in the packet is a decision memo detailing delays in the audit process. A letter from CPA firm is attached. Board action is requested.

11. Successes and Other Agency Information

Funded program providers and self-advocates are invited to give oral reports on individuals’ successes. At the chairperson’s discretion, other agency information may be limited to five minutes per agency.

A. Update on Mini-Grant Project (pages 13-16)

A Briefing Memorandum is included for information only, as overview of the project. 

B. Funded Agency Programs (pages 17-27)

Included for information are a tier sheet and chart of PY22 funded programs.

Deferred due to very little change since last month.

A list of commonly used acronyms is included for information.

Included for information only are reports from Kim Bowdry, Leon Bryson, Lynn Canfield, Stephanie Howard-Ga/b, and Shandra Summerville.

16. Other Business — Review of Closed Session Minutes*

Minutes of previous closed session(s) are provided separately to each Board member.

The staff recommendation is that the Board “accept the closed session minutes as presented and continue maintaining them as closed.”

If the Board chooses to discuss these minutes, they may move to “move the Board to an executive session, exception

5 /LCS 120/2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act, to review status of minutes of prior closed session meetings, and that the following individuals remain present: members of the Champaign County Developmental Disabilities Board, Executive Director Canfie,’d, and Operations and Compliance Coordinator Howard-Galbo.” When the closed session discussion finishes, a motion to return to Open Session and roll call will be needed, followed by suggested action: “motion to accept the closed session minutes as presented (or as revised) and to continue maintaining them as closed.”
