Report: Armstrong School District spent $15,626 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Armstrong Township High School District 225 was down 16.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Chambana Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Vermilion County school district spent $18,729 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,626 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment remained unchanged over the same period, with 139 students.

Armstrong's spending in 2019-20 was 7.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
