Village of Belgium Plan Commission met Sept, 27.

The Plan Commission of the Village of Belgium was called to order by Village President Pete Anzia at 7:00 PM, in the Village Hall, 104 Peter Thein Ave.

1 CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order with the following in attendance:

2 ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS

PRESENT: Daniel Birenbaum, Don Tuhy, Joan Gottsacker, Pete Anzia, Vickie Boehnlein, Carissa Barnes, and Roseann Geib and Clerk Julie Lesar.

Also in attendance; Scott Gap, Elliot Development LTD.

EXCUSED:

a) The meeting is compliant with Wisconsin Open Meeting Laws.

b) All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to American Flag and Moment of Silence.

3 APPROVAL OF MINUTES

a) Plan Commission Meeting: August 23, 2021:

Moved by Vickie Boehnlein, seconded by Joan Gottsacker

MOTION CARRIED by the following votes:

Ayes: Vickie Boehnlein, Joan Gottsacker, Daniel Birenbaum, Pete Anzia, and Carissa Barnes

Abstain: Don Tuhy and Roseann Geib

4 BUILDING INSPECTOR REPORT

The building inspector was not in attendance.

5 AGENDA ITEMS: CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING:

Please note – a Quorum of the Village Board and/or a Village Committee may exist. No Village Board action will be taken. Please note, upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of disabled individuals through appropriate aids and services. For additional information or to request services, contact the Village Hall (262) 285-7931.

a) Approve building permit application for 243 Binsfeld Street, lot 20: The Commission members reviewed the building plans. Dan Birenbaum noted that Ansay Development has a number of items to complete to satisfy the required public improvements per the Subdivider's Agreement. He is monitoring the completion of these items. The Agreement was amended to authorize Ansay Development to commence construction of homes within the subdivision as of July 13, 2021. The Village has a Letter of Credit and a check to secure the completion of the remaining public improvements. Clerk Julie Lesar will follow up on the approval of the final plat to get recorded with the state.

b) Approve building permit application for 245 Binsfeld Street, lot 21: The Commission members reviewed the building plans.

Moved by Pete Anzia, seconded by Joan Gottsacker

MOTION CARRIED by the following votes:

Ayes: Joan Gottsacker, Pete Anzia, Daniel Birenbaum, Don Tuhy, Vickie Boehnlein, Carissa Barnes, and Roseann Geib

6 ADJOURNMENT

Motion to adjourn at 7:12 pm was made by Pete Anzia and seconded by Joan Gottsacker.
