Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on May. 14.
We have had two reported positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. One case was at the elementary school and resulted in 4 quarantined students. The second case was at the high school and resulted in 9 quarantined students. Please continue to self certify your students these last two weeks and keep children home that are symptomatic or exposed to COVID outside of school. Thanks for your help and attention!
