City of Gibson Pool Board met Feb. 17.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Meeting officially began at 5:35 when a quorum was reached. Board members Jill Andreae, Mark Ward, Paul Phillips, and Deb Davis were all present.

Review & Approve Minutes
Mark made a motion to approve minutes. Jill 2nd. All in favor. Minutes approved as presented.
Reports
Manager
Randy Ferguson agreed to stay the Pool Manager for this season.
Randy stated that the pool should be approved to open for the 2021 season.
New Business
The board discussed the pay rates, with minimum wage at $11/hour for anyone over 18, and $8.50 for under 18.
The Board reviewed the budget for the year and completed it for the City Council approval.
The position of assistant manager was discussed, with several names mentioned. (Taylor Leak, Brittney Harry, Katy Heep, Sandy Hathoway) Mark will discuss this with those who were mentioned to gauge any interest in the position.
Paul mentioned that the board was still short 1 member, and Susie thought some of the mentioned names might want to serve as a board member instead.
Meeting Dates 2021
The Board will meet every 3rd Wednesday from 5:15pm-6:15pm. (April 21st, May 19th, June 23rd, August 18th, September 15th, and February 16th 2022)
Mark made a motion to adjourn. Paul seconded. All in favor.
