City of Gibson City Council Met Feb. 22.

Call to order by Mayor Daniel Dickey at 7:00 pm.

Ward #2 Randy Wyant, present; Aaron Franks, present
Ward #3 Scott Davis, present; Aaron Kafer, present
Ward #4 Dennis Pardick, present; Denis Fisher, present
Jr Alderman Abby Spiller, absent; Alex Kafer, present
Others present: City Attorney Marc Miller, City Superintendent Randy Stauffer, Jan Hall (WGCY),
Police Chief Adam Rosendahl, Mike Friend (Farnsworth), Joe Durham( Signs of Success).
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Alderman Susie Tongate.
Approval of Council Minutes for February 8. Alderman Denis Fisher moved to approve the February 8th minutes; seconded by Alderman Randy Wyant. MC 8-0.
Mayor Dickey recognized visitors: 1.) Mike Friend of Farnsworth, 1.) Joe Durham of Signs of Success.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: No financial report. No administrative report. 1.) Alderman Susie Tongate reported that the Swim Board met and is making tentative plans for this summer session, including hiring a pool manager and life guards. They are also awaiting a Certificate of Approval to open for the summer session. The next meeting is planned for April 21st. 2.) City Superintendent Randy Stauffer reported that the water main break at Alamo is being repaired, having been emptied. Rasmussen Addition is under a boil order. Superintendent Stauffer thanked Dupont, GAH and Alamo for their cooperation and assistance in conserving water during the water main break and current weather conditions.
OLD BUSINESS:
Consideration of bids for Banners for downtown streetlight poles to advertise the Sesquicentennial. The Mayor asked that this item be held to the next meeting. All agreed.
APPROVAL OF BILLS:
General Fund Bills for $ 82,691.77. Alderman Scott Davis moved to approve payment of the general bills; second by Alderman Denis Fisher. MC 8-0.
