One McDonough County resident in his or her sixties tested positive for COVID-19 on March 24, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 239 positive cases reported in McDonough County among residents in their sixties, accounting for 10 percent of all cases in the county. Through March 24, McDonough County has reported a total of 2,384 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 42 of which have ended with the victim's death.
