City of Gibson issued the following announcement on Jan. 2.
To residents who have downed branches and/or hanging limbs due to ice storm damage: The City plans on picking up branches as soon as ice melts, and they have easy accessibility to do so in a safe manner.
Hanging limbs that need to be cut down/ trimmed will also be handled after ice has melted. If you are concerned about a hanging limb that needs to be removed, please call us with your name, address, and phone number at 217-784-5872.
The City will work as efficiently and safely as possible to get things cleaned up as soon as possible; Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
