Rantoul City School District 137 issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
We have become aware of the following positive COVID-19 cases at RCS:
1. Employee at Eastlawn resulting in 3 close contacts with other employees and no student close contact.
2. Teacher at Broadmeadow which has resulted in that one classroom only moving to full remote for 14 days. All families in that affected classroom have been notified. No other close contacts outside of that classroom.
3. PreK Pleasant Acres student which has resulted in that one classroom only moving to full remote for 14 days. All families in that affected classroom have been notified. No other close contacts outside of that classroom.
4. Northview student which has resulted in that one classroom only moving to full remote for 14 days. All families in that affected classroom have been notified. No other close contacts outside of that classroom.
