Georgetown Fire Protection District responded to 47 calls in 2018 - 14.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Georgetown included 33 fires - 18 structure fires, two vehicle fires and 13 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $155,700 in fire loss - or about $4,718 per fire.

The department also received 13 false calls.

The Georgetown Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $712,265 in 2018.
