Lynch Fire Protection District responded to 87 calls in 2018, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Lynch included 76 fires - 44 structure fires, five vehicle fires and 27 other fires. The fire department also responded to two calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $99,203 in fire loss - or about $1,305 per fire.

The department also received nine false calls, including one malicious call and eight other false calls.

The Lynch Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $194,736 in 2018.
