As of August 31, there have been 36 Vermilion County residents in their sixties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 3,080 residents in their sixties in the county who had been tested, meaning that one percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through August 31, there have been 341 confirmed COVID-19 cases and three deaths from the coronavirus in Vermilion County.
