Monticello Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
We missed seeing so many of our friends on Sunday so we thought we would Paint the Town again - Friday, August 28 from 3 to 6:30 pm! Purchase your square and create your masterpiece right on the street. Each square cost $5 and proceeds fund the Monticello Area Arts Council Scholarship Fund. We'd love to fill 100 squares with beautiful paintings - can you help us meet our goal? This year our event is in the parking lot in front of the Monticello Railway Museum Wabash Depot.
