Buy Black Chambana is hosting our very first Urban Market in conjunction with the Let’s Shop Small CU event organized by Visit Champaign County, The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, Urbana Business Association, and Champaign Center Partnership. This market is so special the Mayor of Champaign issued an Emergency Order 20-23 so that we can host this market!
Here you will find an assortment of goods including; handcrafted items, trending clothes, services, and so much more! We welcome you to invest in your community and help our very own entrepreneurs thrive. Shop local at the Urban Market! This market is open to all vendors, but we strive to make sure it is representative of Champaign-Urbana’s entire demographic. By shopping local you help create jobs, strengthen your community, and find some of the most unique offerings in the city.

Vendor Fee Waivers
We want to make sure money is not a financial barrier to any business who wants to become a vendor at this market. If you can commit to attending 3-5 weekends please message us and we will use the funds from the black-owned business fund to make sure you have the opportunity to continue to grow your business.
Donations
The donations will be streamlined through Venmo (@BuyBlackChambana) and Cash App ($BuyBlackChambana) where they will then be allocated appropriately to Black owned businesses in our community. We are also accepting PayPal and checks to our office located at 702 Bloomington Rd Ste 210, Champaign, IL 61820
