Cunningham Township Board met Feb. 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Cunningham Township Board met in Special session Monday, February 3, 2020 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois.

ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT:

Chair: Diane Wolfe Marlin

Trustees: Bill Brown, Shirese Hursey, Eric Jakobsson, Jared Miller, Dennis Roberts, and Maryalice Wu

Town Clerk: Charles A. Smyth

Assessor: Wayne Williams, Assessor

Supervisor: Danielle Chynoweth

ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None

ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Trustee Dean Hazen

OTHERS PRESENT: None

1. ROLL CALL

Chair Marlin called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 9:25 pm following an Urbana City Council Committee of the Whole Meeting.

2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

There was none.

3. CLOSED SESSION – The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)1

Trustee Miller moved to go into closed session for the purpose of discussing the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)1. The motion was seconded by Trustee Hursey. The motion passed by roll call vote (6-0): Ayes: Brown, Hursey, Jakobsson, Roberts, Miller, and Wu.

The Trustees, Chair Marlin, and other elected officials moved to the 2nd floor Executive Conference Room at 9:26 pm.

The Trustees, Chair Marlin, and other elected officials returned to council chambers at 9:58 pm. A motion to return to open session was made by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Wu. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

4. ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Township Board, Chair Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 9:59 pm.
