After the vote Mayor Smith explained that Mr. Eisenhauer had a telephone conversation with Ken Beth, the Rantoul Village Attorney concerning whether or not Trustee Wilson could vote on the proposal, as he was an active member of the Rantoul Fire Department. Mr. Beth said that he could vote on the proposal because he had No Financial interest in the Transaction. Trustee Wilson chose to vote present to avert any speculation of a conflict of interest.
