MONTICELLO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: COVID19 Information Information For Businesses

Business

Monticello Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 21.

As we face this morning, it is with challenges. You personally have challenges, each business in town has challenges, and most certainly our community, state and federal leaders have challenges to face. I urge everyone to use some patience while we collectively figure out the way forward. We are all struggling to adapt as quickly as possible.

As you are likely aware, all bars and restaurants will be closed for dining-in through, at least, the end of the month. Most will have the ability to offer Pick up/Carry Out services. The Chamber and Main Street will be working to keep up to date on the choices of our local restaurants, as well as all businesses, so we can provide information. We encourage all business owners to update their websites and social media to reflect their adjustments and communicate with us. Customers please take time to look at the local businesses websites and social media before assuming you know the current mode of operation. Changes are coming fast, so it’s important to understand that hard decisions will sometimes have to be made and, unfortunately, they may be inconvenient. When you are able, please consider supporting our local businesses who are working to adapt and serve you.

Last, please consider the struggles of others in our community as you move forward and extend a helping hand where possible. At minimum extend some tolerance to the changes we are all having to make.

Monticello is resilient and strong! I have no doubt Monticello will do what it does best, come together to support those that need extra help!! Please be safe!
