Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on March 12.
Preschool screenings are coming up. April 1st, 2020 at the First Christian Church in Gibson City. Please call GCMS Elementary School (784-4278) to make an appointment. You have to attend screenings to be eligible for Pre-k or ECE at GCMS Elementary School.
Who: ANY child birth-age 5. Doctors can refer patients. Parents this is good baseline information to have, even if you are not interested in a program.
What: Preschool screenings- a developmental screening based on speech, motor skills (catching, running, jumping, ect…), academics, and vision and hearing to become eligible for the ECE program or the pre-k for all program and baseline developmental information.
