City of Gibson issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.
The American Red Cross will be holding a Community Blood Drive in Gibson City.
When: September 23, 2019, from 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
Where: First Presbyterian Church, (Fellowship Hall), 401 North Church Street, Gibson City, IL. 60936.
To make an appointment, call Sharon at 217-249-8103. Sponsored by : Gibson City Hospital Auxiliary. Bring a friend and help save lives together. APPOINTMENTS ARE NEEDED BY 9/18/19.
To speed up the donation process you can choose to complete the Rapid Pass online health history questionnaire found at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass. A blood donor card, driver’s license or two forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals 17 years or older (16 with parental consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate blood.
