Urbana home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Urbana rose by $23,750 while total sales decreased by 49.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $147,750 - a 19.2% increase over the $124,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 83 homes sold in Urbana in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Urbana for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,258, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
