City of Monticello issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.
Registration is now open for the 9th round of the Monticello Bootcamp program. The program, which covers up to 15 different areas of running a business by bringing in speakers fluent in various business topics, also introduces entrepreneurs to the small business community the program has generated. Eligible individuals interested in opening a brick and mortar location, are welcome to apply for a reimbursable grant of $5,000, to go towards rent/mortgage expenses, as well as utility costs.
The program runs Tuesday evenings from 6pm - 9pm, and is free to all participants, regardless of business knowledge, experience or age of business. Classes meet in the Livingston Center, 224 E. Livingston Street, Monticello, and begin Tuesday, September 17th.
