City of Monticello issued the following announcement on July 10.
The Piatt County Sheriff’s Office is seeking motivated applicants for the part time (32hrs/week) position of 911 dispatcher. This position will primarily work four straight days (including weekends/Holidays) with three days off in between. The starting wage is $16.40/hr. Minimum requirements: H.S diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred; one year 911 experience preferred; pass a comprehensive background investigation; skilled in micro-soft applications and typing; excellent communication skills; mature and calm under stress. Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office, 1216 Raymond Rd, Monticello, Il. 61856. All applications must be returned no later than August 1st, 2019.
