2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 61857?

There was one offender released on parole during 2018 that lives in Muncie zip code 61857, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chambana Sun.

The data shows that the released offender was Shawn Lee. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, when he was 49. He is now 51.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
