Q4 2018 Recap: Parolees in Danville convicted of sex crimes

There were two offenders convicted of sex crimes released on parole in Danville during the fourth quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Chambana Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Danville were men. The younger parolee was a 25-year-old man sentenced in 2018. The other was a 40-year-old man sentenced in 2010.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Antonio Monroe. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2010 when he was 31 years old. He is now 40.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in Q4 2018 who were convicted of sex crimes.
