City of Gibson issued the following announcement on June 20.
The American Red Cross will be holding a Community Blood Drive in Gibson City.
When: July 10, 2019, from 1:00 - 6:00 pm.
Where: American Lutheran Church (Located on Route 9 East)
To make an appointment, call or message Willy Stevenson at 309-830-4280 or email her at wilronsteve@gmail.com. As always, walk-ins are welcome. To speed up the donation process you can choose to complete the Rapid Pass online health history questionnaire found at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass. A blood donor card, driver’s license or two forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals 17 years or older (16 with parental consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate blood.
Please consider donating to this life saving cause. According to the American red Cross every two seconds someone needs blood in the U.S., and there is an increase need during the summer months; Bring a friend and help save lives together!
