There was one offender released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 61856, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chambana Sun.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 31-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a crime against a person in 2018 when he was 30 years old.
