The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Margo McDermed (R-37) on Jan. 29, "encourages Illinois residents to visit cancerscreenweek" and "org for cancer screening resources and talk to their healthcare providers about their risk factors for all cancer types," according to the General Assembly website.
