WHEREAS, there is a need for a Seasonal Laborer (mower) in

the Highway Department;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION I: That the Town Board of the Town of Ogden does hereby approve rehiring of Gerald Hugelmaier as a Seasonal Laborer effective May 6, 2019 at the rate of $17.00/hour.

INTRODUCTORY LAW NO. 2-2019

A local law proposing to amend Chapter 197 of the Code of the Town of Ogden (Vehicle and Traffic) Introduced by Councilman Seconded by Councilman

WHEREAS, the Town of Ogden desires to protect the public health, safety and welfare of the Citizens of the Town of Ogden by regulating speed limits on Town roads and regulating traffic control (Stop signs) on Town roads; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to hold and conduct a Public Hearing to consider the enactment of Introductory Law # 2-2019;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Board of the Town of Ogden, Monroe County, New York, as follows:

SECTION I: The Town Board of the Town of Ogden shall hold and conduct a Public Hearing on Introductory Local Law #2-2019, a local proposing to amend Chapter 197 of the Code of Ogden (Vehicle and Traffic) which Public Hearing shall be held and conducted at the Ogden Community Center, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport, NY on the 22nd day of May, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and at which hearing all interested persons shall be heard concerning the subject matter thereof.

SECTION II: That the complete text of such Local Law is presently on file at the Office of the Town Clerk where it may be examined by all interested persons during normal business hours.

SECTION II: That the Town Clerk shall give due Notice of such Public Hearing as required by law.

WHEREAS, the Town Board has the authority, pursuant to the provisions of Town Law to authorize the disposal of items of personal property no longer needed for municipal purposes;

WHEREAS, the Building Department has found their existing Building Vehicle (2016 Ford Explorer SUV: VIN 1FM5K8D86GGC67879) ready for replacement and determined it to be surplus and no longer needed for municipal purposes by the Town of Ogden.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the town of Ogden, Monroe County, New York, as follows:

SECTION I: That such surplus of items of personal property may be sold by auction.
