Rantoul home prices rise in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Rantoul rose by $45,500 while total sales decreased by 59.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $84,000 - a 118.2% increase over the $38,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Rantoul in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Rantoul for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,786, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
