Hoopeston home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Hoopeston rose by $6,500 while total sales decreased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $52,500 - a 14.1% increase over the $46,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Hoopeston in the third quarter of 2016.
