Champaign County Chamber of Commerce Inc issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
On February 21, 2019, the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and members of the community celebrated the accomplishments of two great women. Christy Devocelle, senior vice president and chief financial officer of the University of Illinois Foundation was named the 2019 ATHENA Award® Recipient. Abby Hendren, executive vice president, brand strategies at Busey, was named the 2019 ATHENA Young Professional Award® Recipient. The program was sponsored by Spherion Champaign Illinois. The lapel pin was sponsored by Busey Wealth Management. Cookies by Design provided dessert for the event. There were over 140 people in attendance for the event, which was held at the Champaign Country Club. Thank you to the support of our great chamber members and community.
