City of Urbana City Council met October 15.
Here is the minutes as provided by the council:
I. Call to Order and Roll Call
There being a quorum present, Mayor Marlin called the meeting of the Urbana City Council to order 6:05 pm.
II. Public Input
There was none.
III. Closed Session
1. To consider:
a. Sale of Certain Real Estate, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(6)
b. Acquisition of Certain Real Estatae, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(5)
CM Dennis Roberts made a motion to go into closed session to consider sale of certain real estate, pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(6), and acquisition of certain real estate, pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(5). Motion seconded by CM Jared Miller and carried by roll call vote as follows:
Brown – aye; Jakobsson – aye; Miller – aye; Roberts – aye; Marlin – aye
The City Council and staff moved to the Executive Conference Room.
The City Council and staff returned to council chambers at 6:54pm.
CM Maryalice Wu made a motion to go back into open session. Motion seconded by CM Roberts and carried by voice vote.
IV. Adjournment
With no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 6:55 pm.
