Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 12.
The RACC and The Village of Rantoul are co-hosting an open house event for the public to attend on December 16 from 4 :30 to 5 :30 pm at the RACC office as a way to recognize and Thank Director Peter Thomas of Lincolns ChalleNGe Academy for his 25 years of service to the Rantoul Community , the Youth of America , and his service to our Nation.
Director Thomas has announced his retirement upon the graduation of this class of Cadets in December. He will be missed.
The Village of Rantoul and the RACC encourage all to stop in at the Open House which will be at the RACC office and Thank Director Thomas and wish him well as embarks on this new journey.
