Piper City Fire Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
Power lines down near Pontiac and a transformer blown near Dwight. No timeframe for repairs yet but we’ll keep ya posted. We will have the station open if anyone needs shelter or power for oxygen, etc, feel free to come up.
