Q2 real estate sales report: Lake of the Woods

Median prices declined in Lake of the Woods over last year, and are up 1.5 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 7 homes sold in Lake of the Woods for a median price of $190,000. That's 2 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Lake of the Woods.

Median property tax for homeowners in Lake of the Woods was $3,571.49 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 1.8 percent of their home's value in taxes.
