City of Monticello issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
The office of the City of Monticello City Clerk will be open during business hours from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm 5:00pm beginning Monday, November 19th, 2018 through Monday, November 26th, 2018; with exception of Thursday, November 22nd, 2018 and Friday, November 23rd, 2018, when the office will be closed for official city holidays; For the purpose of accepting candidate petitions or certificates for the Consolidated Primary election to be held on February 26, 2019 for the following offices: Alderman Ward 1, Alderman Ward 2, Alderman Ward 3, Alderman Ward 4
