Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 15.
Lots of laughter and great conversation and a special presentation by Barb Miller of Community Foundation of Rantoul, Illinois Fall 2018 Grants for those not presented Friday evening at the RACC Annual Banquet. DSC, represented by Stephanie Davenport, received $400 for the individuals who receive residential services and reside in Rantoul. These funds will be used to create community opportunities that may not have been available.
The Annual Heavenly Tree Christmas Party of American Lutheran Church of Rantoul (represented by Debbie Keith ) received a grant of $1,000 to help with their annual purchasing of gifts and a Christmas Party and meal for children in need in Northern Champaign County. Thanks to these great organizations for all they do and a huge Thanks to the CFRI for their generosity and kindness and service to the Rantoul community and its residents.
