City of Monticello issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
The City of Monticello has an upcoming vacancy for a position on the Historic Preservation Commission. The Commission serves the community by educating, preserving and promoting the historic uses, land and structures in the community- residential and commercial areas. The position is appointed by the Mayor, and would be to complete a term through April, 2021, beginning January, 2019. Interested individuals must be available to attend meetings the first Monday of the month at 4pm. For more information, email cjm@cityofmonticello.net.
