City of Monticello issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
Notice is hereby given that the office of the City of Monticello City Clerk will be open during business hours from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm 5:00pm beginning Monday, November 19th, 2018 through Monday, November 26th, 2018; with exception of Thursday, November 22nd, 2018 and Friday, November 23rd, 2018, when the office will be closed for official city holidays; For the purpose of accepting candidate petitions or certificates for the Consolidated Primary election to be held on February 26, 2019 for the following offices: Alderman Ward 1, Alderman Ward 2, Alderman Ward 3, Alderman Ward 3 (remaining 2 years of 4 year term), Alderman Ward 4.
