CITY OF DANVILLE: Trick Or Treat

City of Danville issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

Trick or Treating is downtown tomorrow, the rain will be clear by noon. Watch our page for updates should the weather change.

Below are the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes for the childrens costume contest. Obtain a candy corn bag at Kresge and walk around to collect tickets for votes. Bring your bag back down to Kresge before the costume parade at 7:30 to be considered.

Georgetown Fair Queen Billi Jo Shank will be joining us as Elastigirl! Be sure to get your photo with her as she walks around downtown.

We will have games at Kresge as well as paints & mini canvases at Temple Plaza for free painting.

Play witches hat ring toss outside of Vintage Villains - Venue and stop inside to collect a piece of candy. Don't forget to go downstairs to get a treat from Heartland Fair & Encore Shoppe Clothing. Also on the second block giving candy will be Downtown Danville, Inc.(120 N Vermilion) and you can play a game of bags outside of their building.

The costume parade will begin at 7:30 at Community Action (North & Vermilion) in the center of the street led by Elastigirl (Billi Jo Shank). Line up and wave to your family members as you walk toward Kresge where Elastigirl will announce the winners of the costume contest.

Play a Trick or Treat guessing game inside with Cafe 13, Get hot mini donuts from Zeke's Eats, enjoy cuban food by Cafecito Cubano or enjoy a meal inside of The Heron Restaurant (costumes welcome)

First Presbyterian Church - Danville, Illinois (100 N Franklin) will be showing Hotel Transylvania and giving out free hotdogs & popcorn.
