University Of Illinois At Urbana-Champaign School Of Music issued the following announcement on Sept. 5.
The Music and Performing Arts Library (MPAL) will be hosting a special Player Piano Reveal event on Saturday, September 22 from 1-3pm.
The presentation will start in the Music Building Auditorium with School of Music alum Catherine Hennessy Wolter (PhD, Musicology), and piano restorer Mel Septon.
A light reception will follow in the Library with materials relating to player pianos on display, and an opportunity for people to see the piano in action.
