Report: Which Greater C-U communities saw the most fires in 2017?

Georgetown Fire Protection District, Cisco Fire Protection District and Rankin Fire Protection District-Rankin Unit reported responding to the most fire-related incidents per capita in Greater C-U in 2017, according to the latest state report.

The annual summary of state fire incidents, published by the Illinois State Fire Marshal, records the number and type of fire-related incidents each fire protection district responded to in the calendar year. Fires are categorized as structure fires, vehicle fires or other fires.
