Ridge Farm Fire Protection District responded to 13 calls in 2017 - 27.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Ridge Farm included 13 fires - 10 structure fires and three vehicle fires.

In all, the department saw $35,200 in fire loss - or about $2,708 per fire.

The Ridge Farm Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $87,711 in 2017.
