Bismarck CFPD responds to 33 fires in 2017

Bismarck Central Fire Protection District responded to 41 calls in 2017 - 6.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Bismarck included 33 fires - 14 structure fires, four vehicle fires and 15 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $2 in fire loss.

The department also received seven false calls.

The Bismarck Central Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $643,514 in 2017.
