Piatt County Resource Conservation and Internet Committee met April 25.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
The Resource Conservation and Internet Committee of the Piatt County Board met on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 104 of the Courthouse. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ray Spencer. Attending were: Spencer, Randy Shumard, Robert Murrell, Linda Leach, Eileen Sierra-Brown, Tony Kirkman, Jennifer Harper, Marilyn Benadino, Scott Davis and Keri Nusbaum.
Motion: Shumard made motion, seconded by Murrell to approve the minutes of the March 21 and April 3, 2018 meetings as written. All in favor, and the motion carried.
Spencer indicated that they hoped to have information back from those who had attended the vendor meeting prior to the next committee meeting in May. Scott Davis did an excellent job of leading the tour.
He asked those in attendance what the committee should look at. He asked for suggestions for what actions the committee should consider.
Marilyn Benadino from the Nursing Home Foundation said they are having problems with the new computer software, particularly for mailing labels. They are having a problem with duplication. She feels the response time when they have difficulties is too slow.
Eileen Sierra-Brown said there are sometimes delays, and that may be inherent to the multiple vendor contracts. There is no agreement for prioritization.
Davis, in attendance, said he would be able to address the Nursing Home Foundation problems next week. He was not made aware there was a problem. Benadino will cc Davis regarding problems when she alerts Nursing home personnel.
The current email system was discussed. There would be advantages to updating the current system.
Public Comments: None
Motion: Murrell made motion, seconded by Shumard to adjourn. All in favor and the meeting adjourned at 9:34 a.m.
